Tidmarsh are the Blind Experts
Charles Tidmarsh was an established wheelwright and carpenter from Gloucestershire. In 1828 he moved his family to Islington, London, where he used his skills to make a living. Part of his work was concerned with window shutters and “rowller blinds” – which soon became the main part of the business. Since those days, the company has passed from father to sons and daughters, and so on. Today, Tidmarsh is run by the fifth and six generations. That’s 190 years of experience! We’ve supplied blinds and shutters to all types of properties, including palaces and ships, both in the United Kingdom and throughout the World! In 1933 we even supplied window blinds to Her Majesty the Queen – earning us the award of the Royal Warrant. Today, we combine this experience with cutting edge technology and passion for our craft to ensure that we truly are the experts in our field.
